This Return and Refund Policy applies to orders placed through fxmeds.com. This website is operated by 2253500 Alberta Inc. (PBG Cannabis) operating as FX Meds.
General Policy
Due to the nature of medical cannabis and cannabis-related products, returns and refunds are limited and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
For health, safety, regulatory, product integrity, and chain-of-custody reasons, FX Meds may be unable to accept returns of cannabis products, medical cannabis products, opened products, used products, products with broken seals, damaged packaging, tampered products, or products that have left our control after delivery.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Eligibility for Refund or Replacement
A refund, replacement, or other resolution may be considered where:
- The wrong product was shipped;
- The product arrived damaged;
- An item was missing from the order;
- The order was cancelled before processing, verification, packing, or shipment;
- The package was returned to us and a refund is permitted under applicable law and our policies;
- FX Meds is unable to fulfill the order after payment has been processed;
- One or more items in the order become unavailable or cannot be fulfilled after payment has been processed.
Refunds and replacements are not automatic and are subject to review, verification, product status, order status, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Partial Refunds Due to Product Unavailability
If one or more items in an order become unavailable after the order has been placed, FX Meds may contact the customer to confirm whether the customer wishes to proceed with the available items, wait for the item to become available, substitute the unavailable item where permitted, or cancel the unavailable portion of the order.
If only part of an order cannot be fulfilled, FX Meds may issue a partial refund for the unavailable item or items to the original payment method. The remaining available items may still be processed and shipped, subject to applicable verification, product availability, shipping requirements, and legal and regulatory requirements.
Shipping fees, if applicable, may be adjusted depending on the circumstances of the order and whether the remaining items are shipped.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless required by law, the following items are not eligible for return:
- Opened or used products;
- Cannabis or medical cannabis products after delivery;
- Products with broken seals or damaged packaging;
- Products that have been tampered with;
- Products that have been improperly stored after delivery;
- Products returned without prior authorization;
- Products that cannot be resold or redistributed due to health, safety, regulatory, product integrity, or chain-of-custody reasons.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us within 2 business days of delivery.
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- A description of the issue;
- Photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label;
- Any relevant tracking or delivery information.
FX Meds may request additional information before determining the appropriate resolution.
Return Authorization Required
Do not send any product back without contacting us first. Any return must be approved by FX Meds in advance.
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted, processed, or refunded.
Verification-Related Cancellations
Medical cannabis orders may be subject to identity, age, eligibility, medical document, registration, delivery address, and compliance verification.
If FX Meds cannot verify the required information, if the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, if a medical document is invalid, expired, incomplete, or cannot be verified, or if fulfilling the order would not comply with applicable laws or regulations, FX Meds may cancel or hold the order.
Where payment has already been processed and the order is cancelled, FX Meds will issue a refund to the original payment method, less any applicable non-refundable fees or costs where permitted by law.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Refund processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.
Shipping Fees
Original shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless the refund is due to an error by FX Meds. Return shipping fees, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed by FX Meds or required by law.
Failed Delivery or Refused Delivery
If an order is returned to us because delivery could not be completed, including due to an incorrect address, recipient unavailability, refusal of delivery, failure to provide required identification, failure to complete age verification, or failure to complete any required medical document or eligibility verification, we may cancel the order and issue a refund less applicable shipping, handling, return, or administrative costs, where permitted by law.
Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been processed, verified, packed, or shipped, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel it.
Once an order has been processed, verified, packed, or shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
