This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to orders placed through fxmeds.com. This website is operated by 2253500 Alberta Inc. operating as FX Meds.

 

Shipping Availability

FX Meds only ships products to locations where we are legally permitted to do so.

Orders may be subject to verification before acceptance, processing, or shipment, including legal age, identity, eligibility, medical document, registration status, delivery address, payment, product availability, and other compliance requirements.

FX Meds reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any order if the required verification cannot be completed, if the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, or if shipment to the requested destination is not permitted under applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, or carrier requirements.

 

Medical Cannabis Access and Verification

Certain products available through FX Meds may be intended only for individuals who are legally eligible to access cannabis for medical purposes in Canada.

Where required, customers must provide a valid medical document signed by an authorized health care practitioner and complete any required identity, age, eligibility, registration, and delivery verification before an order is accepted, processed, or shipped.

A medical document is not the same as a standard prescription. It is a document completed and signed by an authorized health care practitioner to support access to cannabis for medical purposes in accordance with applicable Canadian cannabis laws and regulations.

 

Order Processing Time

Orders are normally processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation and completion of any required verification.

Processing times may be longer during weekends, holidays, high-volume periods, product shortages, carrier delays, or where additional verification is required.

 

Shipping Fees

Shipping fees, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.

Customers may enjoy free shipping on their first order. For subsequent orders, shipping fees may be waived when the order subtotal reaches a minimum of CAD $99 before applicable taxes, fees, and other charges.

Free shipping is subject to order eligibility, delivery address eligibility, product availability, applicable verification requirements, carrier availability, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

Shipping Method

Orders will be shipped using a carrier selected by FX Meds.

 

Delivery Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring that an eligible recipient is available to receive the package.

Upon delivery of medical cannabis products, proof of age, government-issued photo identification, recipent and signature will be required. 

Delivery may be refused if the recipient cannot complete required identity, age, signature, or other delivery verification requirements.

If the recipient appears to be under the required age threshold or if the carrier requires verification, the recipient may be asked to provide valid government-issued photo identification.

 

Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

FX Meds is not responsible for delivery delays, failed deliveries, returned packages, or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or ineligible address information provided by the customer.

 

Delivery to Restricted Locations

FX Meds does not ship to locations where delivery of the ordered product is prohibited or where the order cannot be fulfilled in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, or carrier requirements.

FX Meds reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order if the delivery address is not eligible.

 

Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided after the order has been shipped.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and arranging to receive the package.

 

Delivery Delays

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

Delivery may be delayed due to carrier delays, weather conditions, holidays, regulatory requirements, verification requirements, product availability, incorrect address information, or circumstances beyond our control.

 

Failed Delivery or Returned Packages

If a package is returned to FX Meds because delivery could not be completed, including due to an incorrect address, recipient unavailability, refusal of delivery, failure to provide required identification, failure to complete age verification, or failure to complete any required eligibility or medical document verification, FX Meds may cancel the order and issue a refund less applicable shipping, handling, return, or administrative costs, where permitted by law.

 

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order appears to be lost or damaged during shipping, please contact us within 2 business days of the delivery date or expected delivery date.

We may require photos, packaging information, order number, tracking information, and other details to investigate the issue with the carrier.

 

Packaging and Compliance

FX Meds will make reasonable efforts to package and ship products in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, carrier requirements, and product integrity requirements.

Customers must not request shipment or delivery in a way that would violate applicable laws or carrier requirements.
